The Aalto internship is open for undergraduate and master’s students, where they can directly engage in research and collaborate with leading research groups at Aalto University. The Aalto Science Institute (AScI) offers this research program and provides summer employment opportunities to international students. The AScI International Summer Research Program in Finland is currently offering 60 research positions for bachelor’s and master’s students among 53 projects in 11 departments within the School of Science and the three Engineering schools. Aalto University Summer Internship 2024 is an excellent opportunity to experience a diverse and inclusive research environment in Finland. So, if you want to be an AScI Summer Researcher, you must apply before the deadline.

Similarly, the Aalto University Summer Research Program is a paid internship that provides all students with enough salary to cover living and accommodation costs. Hence, making it easier for students to study in Finland for free. Other than this, the international research program includes a number of cultural and social activities that make it a more exciting summer experience in Finland. AScI Summer Researchers’ Activities include a ‘Discover Finland’ course available in June, regular lunch gatherings, various social, cultural, and sports events, along with day trips. In addition, participants will showcase their scientific findings in the AScI poster exhibition that will take place in mid to late August. Thus providing an opportunity for them to present their summer work to the Aalto community. It is important to note that all research positions are based on the Aalto University Otaniemi campus in Espoo, Finland, and remote employment is not an option.

Moreover, the summer 2023 AScI Research Program was highly successful, with over 1600 applications from 84 countries. A total of 52 interns, representing 23 different nations, enjoyed a productive and fulfilling summer experience at Aalto University. Aalto University Summer Research Program 2024 is also expecting a huge response due to the unique nature of this summer program. The Aalto Science Institute International Summer Research program is available for students across all schools within Aalto University, including the Schools of Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Arts, Business, Design, and Architecture. Although positions are generally open in all schools, they mostly align with the fields of science and engineering.
