    Eligibility Criteria for African Development Bank Internship:

    • The applicant should have reached the age of majority in their country of nationality or origin and should not be more than thirty years old when commencing the internship program.
    • Individuals who are nationals of the member countries of the African Development Bank are eligible to apply for the AFDB Internship.
    • They must be presently enrolled in a master’s level degree program at a recognized educational institution, whether public or private.
    • Candidates can submit an internship application within one year of obtaining their master’s degree
    • Submission should include a letter from their educational institution, confirming their enrollment status, or a copy of the aforementioned master’s degree.
    • Moreover, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the Bank’s official working languages (English or French).
    • Proficiency in the Bank’s standard software applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is essential, with knowledge of SAP being an additional advantage.
    • The internship duration for each candidate will range from a minimum of three (3) months to a maximum of six (6) months. Each candidate is eligible for one internship opportunity.
    • Similarly, interns who are selected will carry out their internship either remotely or on-site, depending on the specific requirements of the hiring units.
    • On-site interns are responsible for their air travel to and from the Bank’s location, as well as their own living expenses.
