The Asia Foundation LeadNext Program thinks it is important to use the creativity and energy of emerging leaders. During the international leadership program, the fellows will get a chance to meet one to three times a week for many weeks. It will help them to develop their social change leadership capabilities. The global youth leadership program is open to students aged 18-25 across Asia and the US. In this leadership training program, fellows will learn different techniques and skills that will help them improve impact and self-awareness. Furthermore, it will also boost their confidence, which will help them in public speaking and exploring how other people think. The main focus of this international intensive training program in US is communication and teamwork.
The Asia Foundation LeadNext program in USA consists of four components: Leadership Training Intensive, Monthly Virtual Masterclasses, Global Leaders Summit and Mentorship. The first component is the Leadership Training Intensive, during which fellows will meet with each other to collaborate and exchange. They will work together to expand their knowledge and experience. The second component is Monthly Virtual Masterclasses, during which they will learn and get real-world experience from global experts. The third component is the Global Leaders Summit, which will be held in San Francisco, during which they will gain exposure to best practices and cutting-edge approaches to innovative leadership.
The fourth component of this Asia Foundation Leadership Program is mentorship. In this component, fellows will get to pair with professional mentors based on their interests. All the LeadNext fellows will get to learn from top mentors. These mentors are from the broad network of the Foundation; they will connect fellows with recognized leaders, mentors, influencers, and shapers. The Asia Foundation Young Leaders program is a fully funded program for young leaders. The Asia Foundation Leadership Program 2025 in USA will cover all the expenses of the selected fellows for the Global Leaders Summit in the San Francisco Bay Area.
